Water Survival Training
Tech Sgt. Jason Wade, an Aerospace Medical Technician receives instruction on the use of the one-person life raft from Tech Sgt. Preston Caldwell, an Aircrew Flight Equipment Continuation Instructor, during water survival training at the Cobb Aquatic Center in Marietta, Ga., 4 Feb. Aircrew personnel are required to receive this training once every three years to stay proficient with the equipment and techniques used in various water survival situations. The Aircrew Flight Equipment Continuation instructors conduct this training twice a year and have partnered with Cobb County to use the Cobb Aquatic Center in Marietta, Ga., for each winter session to ensure a safe training environment.
