DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- The Base Exchange here is scheduled to remain closed Wednesday, January, 6, and until further notice. The anticipated re-opening is planned for later this week or early next week.

The BX was initially closed Tuesday to mitigate the potential spread of COVID-19. A positive case among Exchange staff members and potential close contacts has caused a temporary shortfall of available personnel. The decision to close was made out of an abundance of caution.

Dobbins is currently in Health Protection Condition (HPCON) Bravo+ and strict COVID-19 mitigation measures are in practice.

Preserving the health of our base community, while sustaining crucial mission operations, is a top priority.
