Scholarship aid available for eligible Reservists, families

Dobbins Service members and family are eligible to receive one of 20 available $500 scholarships as part of the annual Total Force Top 3/USAA scholarship. Eligible applicants may submit packages if they are the rank of E-9 or below or an immediate family member of an E-9 or below (i.e., daughter, son, etc.).

The military member must be a current member of the Air Force Reserve, Air Force Reserve Command or a family member of either component. The applicant must currently be enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree program at a regionally accredited college or university during the upcoming semester, or have a letter of acceptance from the Registrar's Office at a regionally accredited college or university.

A grade-point average of 3.0 or above within the last six months is required. If the applicant is an incoming freshman, the last high school transcript is required.

Lastly, applicants may not have been a Total Force Top 3/USAA Scholarship recipient in the last 12 months or have earned a master's degree.
