Providing Aerial Spray to the Joint Force

A Blue Tigers flight crew assigned to the 757th Airlift Squadron flies a 910th Airlift Wing aerial spray-modified C-130H Hercules aircraft at 300 feet using night vision goggles, Sept. 9, 2025, during an aerial spray mission combating the mosquito population in the marsh areas of the Naval Weapons Station, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. Based out of Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, the 910th AW maintains the Department of Defense’s only large area, fixed-wing aerial spray capability to eliminate disease-carrying insects and pest insects.
