Air Force Reservist Honored with Life-Changing Gift for Her Service, Sacrifice, and Resilience

Tech. Sgt. Martha Rodriguez, a 433rd Security Forces Squadron fire team leader, embraces Lisa Hamlin, a retired 433rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron Chief Master Sgt., after receiving a new vehicle donated through USAA and the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program April 30, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. Hamlin, through a non-profit organization she founded, nominated Rodriguez for the donation because one of her daughters has special needs related to a rare genetic condition coupled with Rodriguez’s reputation as an extremely hard worker and dedicated Airman.
