National Blood Donor Month
The U. S. Air Force has a long history when it comes to our national blood donation system, dating all the way back to World War II when the Army-Air Corps/U.S. Air Force created the capabilities to transport much needed blood products from the United States into the many campaign theatres. During this National Blood Donation Month you too can be a Silent Hero by giving The Gift of Life. (U.S. Air Force graphic/Staff Sgt. Daniel Phelps)
