The Cost of Smoking
Cigarette addiction almost cost Staff Sgt. Jaimi Upthegrove, 94th Airlift Wing public affairs specialist, her marriage. It was a nasty habit to her husband, he cared about her and she was hurting the entire family. More than 16 million Americans suffer from a disease caused by smoking and each year an estimated 443,000 people die prematurely from smoking or exposure to secondhand smoke.
