Lakeside Pavilion sustains wind damage
The Dobbins Air Reserve Base Lakeside Pavilion sustained severe damage when it was struck by a large uprooted pine tree during heavy winds Feb. 21. Base civil engineers collapsed the pavilion avoid further safety hazards. The 94th Airlift Wing Safety Office reported winds at 50 knots at 4:49 a.m. Currently, there is no estimated time of repair.
