Makos Evacuate Homestead

Melvin Woods catches the attention of the next arriving F-16C pilot so he can marshal him into a parking space on the Dobbins Air Reserve Base ramp, Aug 4. Mr. Woods is a member of the Transient Alert team responsible for guiding visiting aircraft arriving and departing Dobbins ARB. The F-16C block 30 fighter jets are being moved from Homestead ARB as a precautionary measure to avoid possible damage from tropical storm Emily, currently brewing in the Atlantic Ocean.
