top cab
A larger top cab was designed to provide more space for equipment and provide an enhanced capacity for upgrading communication capabilities. The old tower, built in the 1950s, underwent small renovations on the top cab in the 1980s. The new tower began operations August 1. (U.S. Air Force photo/Don Peek)
