Air fill simulation
Members of the Crash, Damaged, and Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) Team from the 94th Maintenance Squadron assemble a distribution console to fill large 15 ton capacity lifting bags to prevent damage to the underside of the aircraft when lifting the nose portion. For the purpose of the exercise, filling the bags was simulated. The team was deployed in response to an exercise scenario of a refueling truck colliding with a C-130 Hercules on the Dobbins Air Reserve Base ramp May 10. The exercise was part of a Consolidated Unit Inspection (CUI) conducted on Dobbins. (U.S. Air Force photo/Don Peek)
