Top 3 elections Sept. 7 Published Sept. 6, 2013 By Senior Airman Elizabeth Van Patten 94th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- The Dobbins Top 3 group is scheduled to hold officer elections at their upcoming meeting at 11 a.m. on Sept. 7 in the 94th Maintenance Conference Room, building 838. Any interested SNCOs should come prepared with a two to three minute presentation on what they hope to accomplish as an officer - emphasizing projects, leadership experience and why they are pursuing that particular office. Available offices are president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. "This is a great way for our SNCOs to jump in and shape the base," said Senior Master Sgt. Joy Hughes, 94th Civil Engineering superintendent. "Top 3 officers have the ability to cultivate their leadership style, become involved in projects that make a big impact, and directly mentor junior NCOs and Airmen across the base." Over the past two years, Top 3 officers and members have provided direction for the Dobbins First 4 group during its creation. Tops 3 officers have been proactive in meeting with First 4 officers on multiple occasions to ensure the survival of junior enlisted group, and have played key roles in helping the new group thrive and become one of the strongest organizations on Dobbins Air Reserve Base.
