Lt. Col. John Vallrugo, former 94th Airlift Wing process manager, assumed command of the 94th Logistics Readiness Squadron during a Change of Command Ceremony presided by Col. Marshal Irvin Jr., 94th Mission Support Group commander, Sept. 7.

Former 94th LRS commander Lt. Col. Brian Farrell will now serve as the new wing Inspection Superintendent in the Inspector General office.

Farrell asked one question of his Airmen before relinquishing command.

"I beg you to treat him as well as you've treated me, and he will be successful, "said Farrell. "It's been a pleasure, an honor and a gift serving you."

After serving on active duty, as a traditional reservist, an Air national Guardsman and presently an Air Reserve Technician, Vallrugo brings a wealth of experience to the 94th LRS.

"Taking care of each other is a big part of this job, and it's what we do," Vallrugo said. "The bottom line is great people make a great mission."
