Members of the 94th Airlift Wing were given a dose of Hope and Will, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta mascots, as the duo toured Dobbins Air Reserve Base and other Cobb County landmarks in October.

In an effort to help them on their campaign, members gave the two a sample of how the base operates and interacts with the local community - all the while getting Airmen and civilians to laugh as they posed for pictures.

"The mascots symbolize the hopeful attitude and strong will of our patients, families and staff, inspiring them every day to be curious, brave and playful," said Pam Younker, Children's community outreach liaison.

In 2012, Children's provided over$137 million in benefit to the state and local community, by seeing more than 345,000 children, according to Children's officials. The goal of Children's is to make a difference in the lives of kids and the strength of their communities.

When not inspiring from the road, the larger than life pair can be found in one of Children's many locations interacting with kids and families.
