Recognized for achievement Published Dec. 11, 2013 By James Branch 94th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Chief Master Sgt. Angela Poole, of the 94th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, was recognized for achieving the highest enlisted rank during a pin-on ceremony Nov. 17 in the squadron auditorium. The Rota, Spain native began her military career in 1996, serving in the U.S. Army Reserve Military Police Corps. In 1999, she left the Army to join the 167th AES, West Virginia Air National Guard. Poole has participated in multiple disaster relief missions. In 2001, she deployed to Macedonia to support Operation Joint Guardian. In 2010, she was awarded Air Force Reserve Command Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year. She has completed four deployments, participating in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom combat aeromedical evacuation missions. Her son, 2nd Lt. Jason Poole and husband, Chief Master Sgt. (Ret) Phil Poole, pinned on her new rank during the promotion ceremony.
