Coined for excellence Published Jan. 2, 2014 By James Branch 94th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Chad Hypes and Kristin Gordon, 94th Civil Engineering Squadron project engineers, were recently coined by Colonel Roy Alan Agustin, Air Force Reserve Command civil engineer, for outstanding work on several key projects for the 94th Airlift Wing. Upon touring projects assigned to the two, Agustin decided that they deserved his Major Command Coin for Excellence. We often don't say thank you enough to the project managers who are on the ground working hard every day to make sure these projects are a success, he said. I am very fond of the level of work that is being accomplished here at Dobbins Air Reserve Base. Hypes was recognized for airfield projects and efforts to create a new classroom campus for the Training Certification Center. Gordon was recognized for renovation projects at the base clinic, 94th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron facility, Base Civil Engineering facility, and the Dobbins Fitness Center, each valuing $2-6 million.
