With the current winter weather conditions, the following information can help you if you lose power in your home:

1. Have fresh batteries on hand for powering flashlights and radio. Use extreme caution when using candles.

2. Make sure mobile devices are fully charged

3. Keep a supply of food that needs no cooking or refrigeration, such as bread, crackers, cereal, canned foods and dried fruit.

4. Water stored in clean containers or purchased bottled water can be stored for a long time.

5. Wearing layers of clothing will keep you warmer.

6. Use heaters approved for indoor use and ventilate properly. Indoor use of portable generators, charcoal grills, or camp stoves can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.
