The Information, Tickets and Travel office celebrate the opening of a new location at building 558, 1335 Dozer Circle, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia, on May 9.

Due to a need for space to accommodate the increase in customers, the decision was made to expand to a larger location.

"Before, customers would be lined up outside my door and all over the place in the hallway," said Sue Short, ITT manager. "Now, we have plenty of space for people to wait and for customers to see what we have to offer."

Previously, ITT was contained inside of a single office inside of building 727, which accommodates ID card customers and those who are processing for passports, making it crowded and slow.

"Putting ITT in this building accomplished two goals," said Lt. Col. David Dick, 94th Force Support Squadron commander. "Firstly, they have their own space, which was our primary concern. Secondly, they are located in the same area as the outdoor recreation facility, which is synonymous with their products."

ITT offers many services that were previously overlooked. Now, the office is outfitted with multiple displays that illustrate the many different amenities that they provide.

"We have a sitting area now, so while customers are being helped, others can browse our products," said Dick. "Most people don't even realize that we have so much more to offer."

The new office was renovated and outfitted to make the space more comfortable and efficient. These characteristics help to make the area more pleasing and relaxing to the customers that come in.

"Now that we have more room, we can accommodate our clients more." said Short. "It is more customer friendly, and we can establish more client base."

"This new area improves the way we do business," said Dick, "and because it is near our outdoor recreation facility, it provides more exposure for us. Most importantly though, is that we have plenty of room to grow. This is only the beginning."

On top of having a new location, ITT also has new hours of operation. They are open Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and UTA Saturdays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For information, call 678-655-4797.
