Educating the educators Published May 21, 2014 By Don Peek 94th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Staff from Saint Leo University Marietta Center visited with members of the 94th Airlift Wing during a tour of Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga. May 19, 2014. The group spoke with personnel from the 94th Security Forces Squadron, 94th Operations Group, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Teams, and the 700th Airlift Squadron. The group was introduced to equipment used by EOD and security forces personnel, received briefings on weather forecasting, air traffic control operations, and spent time in and around a C-130 Hercules, educating staff members on organizational missions. "We see many of the reservists pursuing varied levels of degree programs, touring Dobbins is a way for staff members to see how those degrees were applied," said Mary Estes, director.
