DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Dobbins Air Reserve Base is pleased to host its annual Wing Family Day on October 23, 2022. Joining the family day festivities are Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band. The Lt. Dan Band began in 2003 through the Gary Sinise Foundation. The Gary Sinise Foundation honors defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need.
Family Day kicks off at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 23. The Lt Dan Band performance begins at 1:00 p.m. Pre-register / RSVP for the event at tinyurl.com/Fall-Festival (*please note, the link will not work on Government-networked computers).
General Event Information
- Cashless Event: Specialized food truck and alcohol must be purchased with debit/credit card.
- If parking reaches capacity, visitors may be turned away.
- It is strongly recommended that all non-DoD cardholders get a pass from the Visitor's Center (Building 866) prior to Sunday, October 23. Visitors attempting to get passes on Sunday prior to the event will experience significant delays or may not be served due to capacity.
- Shuttle service may be delayed after the Lt. Dan Band concert due to the number of attendees. Guests physically able are encouraged to walk back to their parking areas.
- Bags and personal items are subject to search upon entry to the family day area
- No weapons - Federal law prohibits the possession of firearms of other dangerous weapons in Federal facilities and on Federal property.

General Parking Information
Main Visitor/Dependent Parking Areas
- Lot across from Building 729 (22d Air Force Headquarters) and adjacent to Building 806 (Consolidated Club)
- Building 838 parking lot (southside)
- Lot across from Building 827 (Finance/Communication Building) and adjacent to Building 836 (Civilian Personnel)
Overflow Parking Areas (if space is available)
- Building 550
- Building 440/Building 441 - Navy/Marine Corps Parking Lot
- Hangar 5
Reserved Parking Areas
- Lot directly in front of Buildings 737 and 755 is reserved for personnel working at Base Operations and Fire Department
- Lot to the south of Building 732 is reserved for handicapped and VIP personnel
- Building 727 parking lot is reserved for Emergency/First Responder parking
All other parking lots will be first-come, first-served and will be managed by the owner/user.
Shuttle Pick Up
Shuttle service will begin at approximately 10:50 a.m. and will suspend at approximately 5:30 p.m.
- Navy/Marine Corps Parking Lot (Building 440/441)
- Corner of Lake Circle and Fifth Street (near ballfield and tennis courts)
- Building 838 Entrance (northside near flagpole)
- CNGC Shuttle will pick up visitors who park at Hangar 5 if space is needed
