Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga. -- Dobbins ARB transitions to Health Protection Condition Alpha, effective June 2.

The decision to transition to HPCON Alpha is based on current data and IAW the most recent guidance for risk-based implementation of the HPCON framework – namely a sustained downward trajectory of COVID-19 cases throughout metro Atlanta.

As a result of this transition, the following changes will be implemented:

  1. Groups of more than 50 people are once again authorized without CC approval/coordination.
  2. Sign-in sheets/temp checks are no longer required.
  3. COVID prevention supplies no longer take precedence over normal supplies.

Although the base is going to HPCON A, we will continue to follow CDC guidelines, and will require base personnel to:

  1. Wear a mask if unvaccinated.
  2. Alternatively, if you are vaccinated and wish to continue wearing a mask, you may do so. You can also request others to wear masks around you if it makes you feel more comfortable, but the decision to do so will ultimately be up to vaccinated individuals.
  3. Avoid coming to work if you are ill or have COVID symptoms.
  4. Report to PHEO if you contract COVID or suspect that you’ve been in close contact with someone with COVID.
