Air Force Reserve Command engineers participate in STEAM event for high school students

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Senior Master Sgt. David Hughes, an inspector general manager at Air Force Reserve Command, grades a team of local high school students on the construction and flight of their model rocket ship made out of paper and other office supplies during a science, technology, engineering, art and science event hosted by AFRC and the Society of American Military Engineers at the Museum of Aviation at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Nov. 8, 2019. Students were asked to create a model rocket that could launch to a designated area using air pressure while holding pennies to represent crew and cargo.
