2008 at Dobbins Air Reserve Base was a very successful year. Members of the 94th Airlift Wing participated in and passed six major inspections all in one week. The wing also hosted its first air show since 2001, which drew crowds of nearly 200,000 to see the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds perform in the Metro Atlanta area for the first time.
