The Dobbins Top Three Group is scheduled to host an event June 20 to help raise funds for local homeless children.

The inaugural "Wingman Ride for a Cause" event will raise money and collect donations for "The Least of These" benefit for homeless children in Bartow County, GA. Dobbins Top Three Group adopted the organization as its charity for 2009.

The Top Three Group is a not-for-profit organization composed of Active-Duty, Reserve, National Guard and Retired military members who have attained the top tier of the Non-Commissioned Officer Enlisted ranks.

These chief master sergeants, senior master sergeants and master sergeants provide support for a variety of special activities and needs for military members performing duty at Dobbins ARB and those currently deployed. In addition to supporting the military family, they routinely reach out to the local community to give back.

The "Wingman Ride for a Cause" will include a motorcycle ride and a family burger burn with drinks, music and assorted door prizes donated by local people, civic groups and businesses in the metro Atlanta area. The Top Three Group expects up to 200 people to attend and nearly 100 motorcycles.

A generous spirit and support for the homeless children in Georgia would be greatly appreciated by all group members and their families, including the many Reservists now activated and deployed to various hostile areas around the globe defending our country's deployed operations.
