Wing announces quarterly award winners Published July 14, 2009 Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- In a recent announcement, senior leaders with the 94th Airlift Wing named the quarterly award winners for April through June 2009. Capt. Karen Knoblock, a flight nurse instructor with the 94th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, was named the Company Grade Officer of the Quarter. During a recent deployment she provided critical care to nearly 300 injured Joint Force members. Her expertise ensured safe, high-quality medical care with zero accident rate during 130 missions. As a fitness guru, she also scored a perfect 100 on her Air Force fitness test. Master Sgt. Darrell Harper, a load planning supervisor with the 80th Aerial Port Squadron, was named the Senior NCO of the Quarter. His expertise was instrumental in the movement of 13,000 tons of cargo and 237,000 passengers on more than 5,000 flying missions. He's currently pursuing a Masters degree with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Tech. Sgt. Edward Kennedy, an aviation resource advisor with the 94th AES, was named the NCO of the Quarter. He voluntarily deployed to Iraq and supported more than 130 combat missions. He quickly learned a new client support administrator function, which enabled critical command and control operational flow for more than 40 users at Iraq's busiest airfield. He's currently pursuing his Masters in accounting and financial management. Senior Airman Jermaine Williams, a personnelist with the 94th Maintenance Operations Flight, was named the Airman of the Quarter. He volunteered for a short-notice deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and received all necessary training within two weeks. While deployed, he processed half a ton of mail including equipment and care packages. He is committed to his community and participates in local food drives.
