Base closed until Monday due to water outage

DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. --  The Installation Commander has approved administrative leave for all base personnel except minimum essential personnel due to the current water outage. This administrative leave is effective until 6 a.m. Monday morning, Aug. 10.

Although non-essential personnel will be allowed to remain on base as they desire, there will not be any water or restroom facilities, and personnel should NOT drink water from any base faucet until further advised.

For reporting instructions after 6 a.m. Aug. 10, please utilize inclement weather procedures to check on base opening (i.e., radio/TV stations and 678-655-2333) or the base Web site at www.dobbins.afrc.af.mil.

For any further guidance, supervisors should contact their respective Group Commanders.
