UPDATE: Base water outage Published Aug. 7, 2009 Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- The 94th Civil Engineer Office together with other base agencies have begun repairs to the water main break that occurred Aug. 6. The water is gradually being turned back on and water has been restored to several buildings on the base. However, the water must go through a series of tests before it is determined safe to drink. Officials are confident the water will be fully restored by Monday, Aug. 10. Members should still call the Straight Talk Line at 678-655-2333 for the latest information on reporting procedures. Supervisors should contact their commanders for additional information.
