Unit: 94th Security Forces Years in Service: Five Job Title: Security Forces Patrolman/ Fireteam Member What does your job entail? Basic law enforcement and air base defense. I conduct traffic stops, perform emergency assistance, all while protecting personnel and resources. What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? Helping people and being able to provide public service. What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Not much about my job is difficult, but if I had to find something I would say being idle for long periods of time. Where were you stationed before Dobbins ARB? I was a traditional reservist at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., and I deployed to Kirkuk, Iraq from July 2008 to February 2009. What is your civilian occupation? I am a Active Guard Reserve here at Dobbins ARB. What do you enjoy for recreation? I love riding my Harley Davidson, playing with my son, sports, camping and church. How is your family life? My family life is great I have a beautiful wife named Lauren and a 19-month-old son named Brayden, who I love very much. What advice would you give to a young person trying to enter the Air Force? Stay out of trouble, finish your education and make good decisions. Find something you have a passion for and go at it head on.
