VA transferability for dependents Published Aug. 13, 2009 Education Office DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Any Reservist who has applied for transferability, but not approved yet, with dependents in school for the upcoming semester will need to speak to the Veterans Administration certifying official at the school. Let them know the application is pending approval. Once approved, do a screen capture of the Transferability of Educational Benefits saying it's approved. Print it out and carry it to the school. Ask the school veterans certifying official at the school to submit an enrollment certification for the academic term to VA.
