*Editor's Note: The 94th Public Affairs office has started a weekly "PA Pigskin Picks" competition. Correctly guess who will win NFL games each week for a chance to win prizes and be named the Pigskin Expert of the Week. Winners will be announced on the Web site each week.*

The road to Miami for Super Bowl XLIV began last night when the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers hosted the Tennessee Titans. What a perfect way to start the 2009 NFL season! Many fans and so-called experts are talking about the possibility of a Steelers championship repeat. And why not, since the Steelers have most of their key players returning this season.

Last night, the Steelers looked to get revenge for their loss to Tennessee late last season. An overtime field goal gave them their first win of the season as they beat the Titans 13-10 and set the tone for a possible repeat. Everybody will continue watching to see how quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will handle the pressure of repeating.

Our hometown team, the Atlanta Falcons, will start their season against the Miami Dolphins Sunday at the Georgia Dome. In pre-season play the Falcons' defense secondary along with the rest of the defense struggled. The addition of future Hall of Famer tight end, Tony Gonzalez, will give the Falcons another weapon on offense. With the return of wide receiver Roddy White, running back Michael Turner and quarterback Matt Ryan, the Falcons should not have any problems moving the ball. Hopefully our beloved Atlanta Falcons will start the season playing against Miami and end the season playing in Miami.

Until then, make sure to enter the new "PA Pigskin Pick" competiton each week. Fill out an entry form and turn into the 94th Public Affairs office at 94aw.pav3@dobbins.af.mil or fax to 678-655-5056. You may also drop them off to the PA office located in Bldg 838, Suite 2121 on the second floor.

Week 1 entries are due by Saturday, Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m. Good luck!
