Job Title: Knowledge Operations Specialist

Time in the military: 18 months

Time at Dobbins: 14 months

What are your job responsibilities? I am an administrative assistant for the Mission Support Group Command Section.

What do you enjoy most about your job? I enjoy meeting, greeting, and giving assistance to individuals who visit the Mission Support Group Command Section.

What is most challenging about your job? I enjoy a challenge, so the multi-tasking, greeting customers, answering phones, drafting documents, managing incoming and outgoing documents/mail; only to name a few is just the beginning of my work day.

What exciting places did you travel to this summer? I traveled to Savannah, Ga. for a long weekend of shopping, boat rides, and enjoying the sites of the historic town. I also went to Six Flags over Ga. and had a blast.

What TV shows are you looking forward to watching this fall? The new season of "House" and FOOTBALL!

What do you enjoy for recreation? I enjoy reading suspenseful books, watching horror movies, and going skating or shopping.

What is the most important lesson you've learned from being in the Air Force? Persistence, determination, and most importantly education will lead you to success and take you anywhere you want to go in life.

What advice would you give a young person looking to join the Air Force? Do it! Joining the Air Force has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. Being a reservist has really taught me the importance of time management while giving me a strong sense of how to operate effectively in the business world. It's been my means for paying for school through the G.I. Bill, given me the opportunity to visit other states and will provide a chance for me to travel overseas in the near future.
