Job Title: Marketing Assistant Time as a civilian: Five years Time at Dobbins: Next month will be five years. What are your job responsibilities? As a marketing assistant, I primarily advertise and promote Services activities and events. I accomplish this by producing graphics including flyers, posters, banners and programs. I keep our media displays around base current and up to date. I publish the Services Newsletter, photograph events and also produce media for Dobbins customers. What do you enjoy most about your job? I love the creativity I get to use when producing graphics for both Services and customers. I also love interacting with people. What is most challenging about your job? Keeping deadlines and coming up with fresh ideas for graphic designs. Any exciting trips planned for this fall? I'm going to Tampa, Fla., next month. I always look forward to yearly vacations with my daughter. We are planning on going to Aruba. What do you enjoy for recreation? Go to and watch movies mostly. I also hang out with my 5-year-old Granddaughter, Kennedy. What is your favorite Air Force memory? Going over to Germany. What is one thing you can't leave the house without and why? Needless to say, my cell phone. And I do remember when cell phones were not even thought of. I always have it not just in case of emergency, but I guess so I can keep in touch with people and vice versa.
