Congratulations to Clarence Miller, 94th Airfield Operations Manager, the Pigskin Expert of Week 9. Clarence has faithfully entered the competition each week and has come close to winning in the past but would end up in second or third place.  By Monday, Clarence was tied with Steven McKinnis, the Week 7 winner, but was closer to the final score making him the winner. Congrats!

Week 10 will start the same way it began during Week 9, with the Colts and the Saints remaining unbeaten.

The Colts edged out the Houston Texans 20-17 when Texans Kicker Kris Brown missed a field goal at the end of regulation to tie the game. Not only did the Colts improve to 8-0, but Quarterback Peyton Manning became the first player to ever throw for 40,000 yards in a decade. The Colts will be tested Sunday when they face the New England Patriots in the "Manning/Brady" bowl.

Speaking of Mannings, Quarterback Eli Manning and the Giants started the season 5-0, but have since lost their last four games. They have a bye week this weekend and will have two weeks to figure out a new game plan to get a win against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Buccaneers finally snapped their losing streak and won their first game since Nov. 30, 2008. Rookie Quarterback Josh Freeman confidently led the Bucs, throwing for 205 yards and three touchdown passes. Now every team in the NFL has at least one win.

The Falcons improved to 5-3 after beating the Washington Redskins 31-17. Running back Michael Turner rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns, including a touchdown off a 58-yard carry. The defense was equally impressive, sacking Redskins Quarterback Jason Campbell five times. Falcons defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux recorded a career-high 10 tackles and 2.5 sacks. The Falcons will continue their run at a solid record Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

We have reached the point of the NFL season where there will be Thursday games, so from now on entries will be due on Thursdays by 4:30 p.m. During the week of the December UTA, we will not count the Thursday game and entries will be due on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Don't forget to turn in your Week 10 Entry Form ... good luck!
