Home Town: Hampton, Ga.

Years served in the military: Four years active duty and less than a year Reserves

Time at Dobbins: Less than a year but getting ready to transfer to another base

Unit: 94th Mission Support Squadron Education & Training office

What is your job title and what do you do?
I work in the Education and Training Office as the training manager. I assist people in information about Tuition Assistance, formal schools, College Level Examination Program (CLEP) testing, GI Bill eligibility, and testing.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Being able to help members advance in their personal education and military goals.

What are you looking forward to at your new base?
I am looking forward to continuing to help others with their education goals and also to learn more about this job since I have only been doing it for nine months. My new base will be March Air Reserve Base, Calif. 

What are you going to miss about Dobbins?
I am going to miss the people in the MSS, especially my coworkers in the education office. I am also going to miss living in Georgia.

What activities do you do outside of work?
I attend school online at Mississippi State University, and I like to read and spend time with my family.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
My immediate family and in-laws family are going to get together and have a big Thanksgiving together at home.

On your way to work what's the one thing you can't leave home without and why?
My cell phone. I drive 45 minutes to and from and if something happens, I'm the only one in between home and here that knows me. I don't want to be between a rock and a hard place without being able to help myself *smile*
