Dobbins Services wins top AFRC awards

Air Force Reserve Command announced this week the winning nominations for the 2009 A1 Annual Program Awards. Dobbins Services took top honors in three categories - Club of the Year, Marketing Program and Outdoor Recreation Program. Chief of Dobbins Services Mr. Richard Ames also won the installation level individual award.

In a memorandum announcing the winners, Col. Joseph H. Vivori, Director of Manpower, Personnel and Services, Headquarters AFRC, congratulated the winners and thanked all of the organizations and individuals who participated in this year's competition. "The competition was reflective of the dedication and hard work performed by all of you and we wish you the best of luck at the final level of completion."

AFRC will submit 1206 winning packages to compete in the Air Force level competition according to Mr. Alan Ray, Chief, Programs Branch, HQ AFRC. "All of our bases and Wings have outstanding personnel, staff members and programs capable of competing at command and Air Force level."
