TRICARE coverage prior to mobilization Published Jan. 25, 2010 94th Mission Support Squadron DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- The Fiscal Year 2010, National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), amended Title 10, U. S. C., Section 1074 to increase the amount of time a Reservist is eligible for TRICARE coverage prior to mobilization from 90 to 180 days. Reservists activated (volunteers and mobilized) in support of a contingency operation as defined in Title 10, U. S. C., Section 101(a)(13)(B) for more than 30 days are entitled to Enhanced Health Care/TRICARE, which also extends to eligible family members.
