Earth Day fair stresses education Published March 10, 2010 DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- National Earth Day will be celebrated with a two day educational fair hosted by Dobbins Civil Engineering and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics at the Base Training Center, Building 813 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. April 14 and from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. April 15. Anyone with access to Dobbins Air Reserve Base may visit and see what current and new programs help protect the employee and the community environment. In conjunction with the fair, you may bring personal electronics such as scanners, VCRs, computers and cell phones to recycle. One of the fairs vendors will transport the items to their recycling facility for proper disposal. Vendors that currently work with the Dobbins Recycling Center and with programs under the Qualified Recycling Program will show what happens to office "stuff" when it is turned in for recycling.
