More than 100 total combined years of commitment to military service were celebrated on March 7 during the 94th Services Squadron's retirement ceremony for four of its Airmen during the March unit training assembly at Dobbins Air Reserve Base.

The retiring Airmen were Master Sgt. Ronald Little, first sergeant; Tech. Sgt. Jessica King, support flight NCOIC; Tech. Sgt. Danny Griffin, unit training manager; and Staff Sgt. Denise Fuller, information management specialist.

Family members of the retirees as well as Airmen throughout the 94th Airlift Wing were present for the ceremony.

"If I could get a hold of the person who talked me into joining the military you know what I would do? I would give him a big hug." said Sergeant Little during his closing remarks. Sergeant Little retired with 30 years of service.

"I enjoyed all of the hugs I received today," said Sergeant King. Sergeant King retired with more than 30 years of service.

These are samples of the remarks of appreciation with smiles and a sense of accomplishment from the retiring Airmen. Sergeants Little and King also honored their spouses with a bouquet of roses and a kiss.

"As a training manager, I enjoyed meeting and working with our new Airmen coming into the Services career field," said Sergeant Griffin, retiring with 22 years of service.

"My career in the Air Force was exactly like my uncle told me," said Sergeant Fuller. "I've enjoyed serving with my fellow Airmen." Sergeant Fuller is retiring with 20 years of service.  Her uncle encouraged her to join the Air Force.

94th Airlift Wing Command Chief John Anderson presented the "First Sergeant Council's Plaque of Appreciation" to Master Sgt. Ronald Little.

At the closing of the ceremony the command chief said, "I want to thank the families for their support during their loved ones' years of service to the Air Force. For without it, these fine Airmen wouldn't have been able to sustain such long careers. We now return your loved ones to you and with them our appreciation for a job extremely well done."
