Korean War 60th anniversary honorary performance in Atlanta, June 29

The Little Angels Children's Folk Ballet of Korea will honor all American veterans, June 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Veterans and active military will be special guests of the memorial committee and can request free tickets.

Upon the 60th anniversary of the start of the Korean War, the celebrated Little Angels Children's Folk Ballet of Korea is touring the U.S. as part of a 16-nation tour to express the deep gratitude the Korean people feel toward the nation and Americans soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice. As a result, the Republic of Korea can now enjoy freedom and independence.

The group will hold performances in Washington, D.C., New York City, N.Y., Fort Benning, Ga., and Atlanta. Korean War veterans, as well as veterans of other conflicts and their families and survivors, are invited to the June 29 performance as special guests.

"America paid a huge price in blood and tears that the Korean people will never forget," said Dr. Bo Hi Pak, founding director of the Little Angels.
