Air Reserve Command’s Fire Department of the Year Published July 7, 2010 DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Col. Timothy E. Tarchick, 94th Airlift Wing commander, honored Fire Chief John R. Hicks and members of the 94th Civil Engineer Squadron Base Fire Department July 7. They were chosen for the annual Air Reserve Command's Fire Department of the Year, Medium Fire Department Category, covering 2009. The fire department responded to 232 structural and aircraft emergencies and 96 medical emergencies during the period from January through December 2009. They are tagged to represent the Air Force Reserve Command in the development of fire protection programs to be implemented Air Force-wide.
