7th Annual Corn N' Sausage Roast Published July 26, 2010 By 94th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- The annual Corn N' Sausage Roast took place at the Large Base Lake Pavilion here July 21. This year marked seven years of the event which is coordinated by Ron Durant of the 94th Airlift Wing Safety Squadron. In addition to good food and fellowship, attendees were eligible to win and bid on one-of-a-kind handmade items. They also participated in a free car and bike show. This year, Chief Master Sgt. Lester C. Davy of the 22nd Air Force, Master Sgt. Daniel Maki of the 94th AW Maintenance Squadron and a team of volunteers grilled bratwurst and corn for personnel. The event generated financial assistance for the 94th AW Family Readiness Emergency Fund. Last year's event generated $2,056.
