Karen Kaye, speed walking and running coach, talked about multiple benefits of starting a basic running program. "Start slow, create basic achievable milestones to build endurance, stick to a good program you can manage and make sure you have a good pair of running sneakers", said Kaye. Command Chief Master Sgt. John Anderson of the 94th Airlift Wing reiterated points by Ms. Kaye and discussed upcoming group initiatives to support the wing. Big Peach Running helped the group clear up some misconceptions of running. Any fitness program starts with a desire to achieve a long-term approach to accomplishing a goal", said Kaye.
