Save A Life Tour Nov. 7 Published Oct. 4, 2010 By Lt Col Walt Koelln Safety office DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- The Save A Life Tour (SALT) is coming to town on Sunday Nov. 7 during the UTA. The event is open to all Dobbins military, civilians, and their families. Location and times will be provided once they are nailed down. What is SALT you ask? Besides something bad for blood pressure and what cows lick, it is a program dedicated to drunk driving awareness, especially focused on young drivers. From their website: http://savealifetour.net/ "The Save a Life Tour is the Nation's most advanced high-Impact alcohol awareness program!" "Our multi-million dollar drinking and driving simulators are the only simulators in the nation that give participants a completely realistic, sober perspective on the effects of driving while intoxicated. With massive tour posters on display, high intensity videos rolling on huge monitors, and our charismatic show presenters engaging both participants and onlookers alike, no one that experiences the Save a Life Tour will leave unaffected. Just call us and ask why we're considered the 'shock jocks of anti-drunk driving'."
