DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. --  

1. The Commander 10th Air Force is currently soliciting nominations for the position of Command Chief Master Sergeant for 10th Air Force. Nominees must be nominated by their wing commander or senior rater.

Required Grade: E-9 (Current/previous assignment in a command/senior enlisted billet)

Suspense: 1 Dec 10

Reporting Date: 8 Jan 11

Highly Desired Qualifications/Prerequisites: Graduated command chief or above senior enlisted leader, eligible to obtain TS/SCI security clearance, and worldwide qualified.

Job Description: Advises 10 AF Commander, represents enlisted Airmen in 10 wings, 5 groups and 2 direct reporting units, provides enlisted perspective on operational issues/mission from units across the continental United States, ensures readiness, welfare and effective utilization of over 12,000 enlisted airmen, visits installations/sites, exercises and contingencies to assess work/living/social environment, develops and strengthens relationships with active duty Total Force Integrated (TFI) units, evaluates/recommends changes for enlisted professional development, training, management and leadership.

2. Copies of last 3 Enlisted Performance Reports

3. Copy of last decoration citation

4. Current and previous physical fitness assessment score

5. Resume of Military and Civilian Education and Experience (limited to 2 pages, 12 PT font)

6. Full length photo in service dress uniform standing at ¾ turn pose (Polaroid, black and white or color print is acceptable)

7. Record Review Rip from vMPF

8. Data Verification Brief (DVB) from vMPF

9. Letters of Nomination from current wing commander/senior rater

10. Letter of intent
