The crowd cheered and gazed in amazement to the aerobatics of the air show performers during the first day of the Wings of Atlanta Air Show Oct. 16.

Along with the performers, the audience enjoyed static displays, food, and opportunities to talk to pilots, civilian and military, about their professions.

"This air show has a lot more planes and better aerobatics' than the last air show we attended in Ohio," said Mrs. Ericka Bendon. Mrs. Bendon, a current resident of Georgia, attended the air show with her husband and two sons.

"I enjoy all of the aircraft performing, but the F-15 is still my favorite," said Mr. Raymond Williams, an original Tuskegee Airman who served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Williams sat back and enjoyed the view of each aircraft performance along with 120,000 other aircraft enthusiasts attending the Wings Over Atlanta Air Show.
