The 94 AW Safety Office is hosting Save A Life Tour, (SALT) at Dobbins, Sunday, Nov. 7 during the UTA.

Tour is sponsored by the Air Force Safety Center.  Dobbins is the only Air Reserve
Base of the 19 bases selected from the entire Air Force to have this tour.

Purpose: To emphasize to the base population through video and virtual reality
method, the devastating effects of drinking and driving.

This is accomplished through the use of a video and simulator, in-your-face
representation of reality, addressing the very real and often fatal
consequences of poor choices. It is NOT a video game. Program is graphic, and
is not for the faint of heart. The video is NOT acting, it is real life and
contains footage from actual events to show how devastating driving under the
influence is. It shows actual drinking and driving accidents, police
responses, emergency room scenes, uncensored family responses, screeching
brakes, crying, screaming, sirens, flashing lights, blood, and injuries.
