Public Affairs Recognized by AFRC Recruiting Published Nov. 2, 2010 By Shaun Shenk 94th Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga -- Air Force Reserve Command Recruiting Service recognized the 94th Public Affairs staff for their outstanding support of the recruiting mission here, when the commander of AFRC Recruiting presented the award to Col Richard Kemble, 94th AW vice-commander, Tuesday. The 94th PA was nominates by Dobbins ARB recruiting services for the 2010 Public Affairs award for outstanding diligence, competence and dedication. The 94th PA office assisted in several ROTC and JROTC orientation flights, base tours and increased community relations efforts increasing contact with the recruiting service by 1,500 personnel. They also supplied stories on Delayed Enlistment Program changes, Get One program and assisted in spreading the word to community television and print media sources to assist in increasing interest in the Air Force Reserves. "The 94th AW Public Affairs was recognized by the Command for their unwavering support of the recruiting mission," said Senior Master Sgt Kristyn Ervin, Dobbins ARB senior recruiter, "they are being awarded the Top PA Support award for their outstanding support and dedication to the recruiting mission and at the recruiting awards banquet." Dobbins ARB recruiters exceeded their annual goal by assessing 447 new Airmen into the Air Force Reserve which shattered the record of 359 set the previous year which was highlighted in the story "Dobbins Air Force Reserve recruiters surpass accession goal for FY10."
