Continuing a family legacy Public Affairs 4/7/2010 - DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE -- Alexander M. Lopez has big career goals. He wishes to become a weather specialist, serving with a special forces unit as a weather jumper. Moreover, he wishes to follow his father, Master Sgt. Larry Lopez's footsteps and become a member of the U.S. Air Force. Sergeant Lopez began serving at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in 1998. He has worked for 94th Airlift Wing Finance, the 94th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron and is now assigned to Headquarters 22nd Air Force as a communications specialist. He is also President of the Dobbins Top 3 association. "The Air Force lives in Dobbins' families," said Sergeant Lopez. "The core values, Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence In All We Do are very much alive with the younger generation."
