Winsett visited many of the units here during the Jan. Unit Training Assembly where he took the time to tell his story. "The Command Chief has an obligation to the wing and to her," Chief Winsett said while pointing at an Airmen from the Aeromedical Staging Squadron as he spent time listening to concerns and responding to questions in the form of round table discussion. "Thats why I want to hear about your experiences," he said. Chief Winsett talked about his many transitions through his career including his transition from active duty to the reserves as well as his transition from Army to Air Force. He discussed the importance of education and not being afraid to make big decisions. "Everything you said has been inspirational," said Technical Sgt. Timothy Johnson at the conclusion of the round table discussion. "Maybe one day I'll be in your shoes," agreed Senior Airmen Dalia Galvan.
