Pigskin Picks comes to an end

The 2011 NFL season brought 17 grueling weeks of hard hitting action packed football that made many of our emotions travel an up and down twisting rollercoaster.

Many teams made big moves halfway through the season like the Dallas Cowboys who fired their head coach after one of the worst starts in franchise history. Or the Philadelphia Eagles who benched Kevin Kolb for the explosiveness of Michael Vick.

The playoffs brought the exact same excitement with "for sure" teams being knocked out early like the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts. And the Super Bowl, with a victory by the Green Bay Packers over the Pittsburgh Steelers with what some say is Aaron Rodgers officially stepping out of the shadow of Bret Favre.

But all these events were overshadowed by the second year of Dobbins ARB Pigskin Picks! Many played but few were successful. The competition was stiff and everyone at Dobbins was in football frenzy when they heard about the weekly prize of $15 AAFES gift cards. When the playoffs began the Pigskin Picks increased its game with $40 AAFES gift cards for the playoffs. But it's the $100 AAFES gift card that everyone has been shooting for, but only one can receive. We too had our share of "for sure" consistent game pickers, but just like the rest of them they fell out early too. After 21 weeks of stiff competition the winner of the 2010-11 Dobbins Pigskin Picks $100 gift card is.......Robert Musgrove of LRS/DMS! CONGRATULATIONS!
